"I met Melissa three years ago at my chiropractor's office, where I was referred to by the Department of Veterans Affairs for treatment for my service connected issues. I never benefited from going to the chiropractor before, but getting a therapeutic massage in combination made all the difference in the effectiveness of getting adjustments. Melissa has always been extremely professional and takes the time to ask each visit which areas I am struggling with so that she can decide what the best treatment would be. I have gotten many massages before, but I never felt the pain relief from getting a massage before like I did when I got a therapeutic massage from Melissa. Other massages were good for relaxation while getting the massage but back to normal after. With the type of treatment Melissa provides, I have enjoyed three years of pain relief and have been able to go without taking medications for pain regularly. I have never allowed anyone to dig deep in my injuries until I started getting treatments from her and saw I could trust her work. I know that every point she works on has a purpose because I feel better immediately after I leave. Melissa knows the name of each muscle she touches and where it connects, which tells me she knows what she is doing. I hope to continue to benefit from her skills and dedication for years to come."

Mind, Body and Soul

Therapeutic Massage

During this service I will seek to obtain a therapeutic benefit, using a range of techniques including (but not limited to) deep tissue and connective tissue . While therapeutic massage can be relaxing, the end goal of the session or series of sessions is not relaxation. It is to relieve pain and promote range of motion. Many of my clients find great relief from this session. Don't live another minute with that pain, take care of yourself and schedule your therapeutic massage!

Back Massage

Swedish Massage

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, light pressure, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. The benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility. Don't wait another minute to give your mind and body the relaxation it needs so badly! **In this session you will not receive deep tissue massage, so be sure to order a therapeutic session if you're looking for a more corrective treatment.

Head Massage

Massage Cupping Therapy is a pleasant and gentle, non-invasive technique that achieves powerful results by creating suction and negative pressure. It stimulates the skin by increasing circulation and promoting a hydrated glow while separating fused tissue layers and draining lymph. Massage Cupping works deeper to loosen adhesion's and lift connective tissue, soften tight muscles and tone attachments, as well as release and soften scar tissue.
